Under counting should help our president

It’s not just deaths in hospitals which are up. On an average day before this crisis there were 20-25 deaths “at home” in NYC. Now in the midst of this pandemic the number is 200-215. *Every day*.

Only the folks previously tested as positive are being counted. So there are likely a lot of virus victims not being counted. This should help our president with his ultimate goal. Saving lives? No. Keeping his numbers down.

They don’t have enough personnel and tests available to test the corpses like they did 3-4 weeks ago before we went from 15 down to near zero.

Of course the death counts are understated, but they'll do analysis of excess deaths + better estimates of infection rates on the back end to improve the numbers.

I don't think the Medical Examiner or County Health Department in a place like Seattle or San Francisco is working to boost Trump's reelection by lower the # of deaths.
