Besides Bowling Green or South Shelby (one obviously won't make the finals) will any other undefeated teams not make the finals?

I got questions lol

Are you assuming on the offset one of them is a shoe in for the finals? Which is ok it’s your opinion. But the biggest hurdle for either is traveling to Lamar for the most likely semifinals. Chances are? It’s a one loss team on both sides more likely than not.

Class 2 perspective only.

No, not assuming that at all. Just that factually one has to beat the other so that is an obvious no for one of them. I agree that Lamar will be a very difficult opponent to be overcome by either.

Ok was just curious. Wouldn’t have been a problem. I understand.

Any Class?
If so, i think Liberty North in class 6 takes the KC trip to the state finals and that knocks off OP and LSN

Edit: Also Nixa
I think the way it lines up, it very well could be an all KC final with LSN and LN. DeSmet may have something to say about that but will only get chance to knock off LSN prior to final.

Has anyone watched LSN much? I've watched LSN a few times on broadcasts the last two years and I always come away thinking the same thing. Loads of talented athletes transferring in, but they don't ever look like they are a team with chemistry. Maybe that is because they didn't grow up playing together and for many it's their first year together? I think that is part of the reason they don't blow teams out offensively.

Not gonna lie, Mt. Vernon scares me with all their weapons so I’m hoping we can get out of their with the W.
Agreed. Mt. Vernon has all their people back and have been looking good. Seneca is full across the board defensively. I think Seneca wins by a small margin.

Mt. Vernon is tough when they don't turn the ball over. They have 30 turnovers in 10 games and have only punted around 15 times all year. Their 1 loss to Nevada they had 5 turnovers. They turn the ball over that much against Reeds Spring they won't make it past this week.

I am rooting for Seneca, should be a heck of a game if it happens. I look forward to seeing how it unfolds! Best of luck Seneca!

Seneca is the best team I saw all year, in person, and really, I am not sure its close.
Agree with this, I dont know who you watched them play. I do wish we would have been healthy against them, but I dont know if it would have mattered!

Will be tough for them to win state, but I could see them possibly getting to it. Maryville or BO at State would be a VERY tough path.
I wouldn't put it past them... Something like 14 of the last 15 years, a team from this District/Conference has made it to at least the Class 3 State Semis

I worry about the defense. But would like to see it. I’d cheer them on to win class 3.

There will NEVER be an undefeated team NOT make it to the final (championship) game. It's an impossibility. Prove me wrong.

Ive watched them live twice, Week 1 and Week 8, and my few takeaways, with the understanding that i am just a fan of football with no more knowledge than the next guy and dont know these kids/coaches personally, so my opinion should be taken with a huge grain of salt, but were are the same exact team you are describing in week one, and they again were that team in week 8. They rely on athleticism and little game scheme. Lots of man coverage on defense to just let athletes be athletes, and on offense, its kind of plays to get athletes in space with no rhyme or reason. They have no flow to a game, but their athleticism bails them out. In week 1, LN had a firm grasp until their 4 star receiver made a 4 star play to end the half. I see it as like how teams have their bread andbutter scheme they rely on, LSN pulls a play out of a barrel with a name of a different athlete and try it. Now, their athletes are AMAZING across the board, but i agree with what you said, i see 0 chemistry and its what keeps these other teams in the game.
