To put this in perspective... Blair Oaks beat SB earlier this year quite easily. Nice to see Tri County Conference members doing well on the big stage this year. Even Versailes started out well against Lamar last week before Lamar pulled away.

Southern Boone misses 45 yard FG that would have tied it, 20-17 Trinity with 900 left in game.

Lucky. They won’t win class 3 playing like that.
Horrible field conditions, very, very muddy. Players couldn't make any cuts and even the refs were slipping and falling. That's football, though. Once Trinity players wer able to get to the outside (where the field was more dry) SB couldn't keep up. I will say that SB was much tougher team than I thought. Very well coached.

Yeah SWMO teams have had like 3 dry fields a piece all season. So yes that’s football. Gotta be able to rise above field conditions. Unless it’s the type of field those NFL players were about to play on this week. Haha.

You got that right, the better team should come out on top regardless of conditions, which is what happened today. Was just stating that the Trinity skills players excel at cutting, which helps greatly with their elusiveness, and they just couldn't do that today. What I'm trying to say is that this was a grind it out type of game due to the field, so don't let the score mislead you. BUT SB was a much better team than I thought they would be.

Class 3 is good. Odessa/Maryville/Cardinal Ritter and others will not go down easy either. Any of the teams left after this weeks game will be tough. Sorry. I grow tired of the field conditions being used as crutches for bad games or loses. So I assumed you were using it as well. Not just saying it was a factor. Sorry about that.

All good. I agree, it shouldnt be used as a crutch, and Class 3 is very good. The final four will be fun.

I like the final four possibilities most in classes 2/3/4. 1/5/6 could be pretty good as well. Just a great football season this year.
