I keep hearing those Dem. candidates claim how terrible the economy is, good luck with that.:)
Who starts Dem. platform directives? Is it the Dems. directing the media or vice versa?

Is it possible that it’s “booming” in only certain areas of the country and certain industries? Uhhhhh yea.
 
I didn’t say a word about the 1,500 jobs. I posed a question. Then I answered it for those of you who probably aren’t as well-read as others and demonstrate that frequently.

Yes, those of us who aren't socialist understand that some industries are, and will, do better than others. Daddy Gubmint doesn't exist to prop industries up.

*cue Duck getting aroused over government subsidies for farms.
 
The biggest choke was the huge tax cut. When things are going well that is the time to pay down the deficit, not cut taxes. When this next recession hits, and it’s a bad one, “you people” are going to howl and blame the unlucky smuck who ends up in the White House. Then the screams for “belt tightening”/cutting SS and Medicare will come which will only make things worse.

The system we have is completely effed.
It couldn’t be more broken and it refuses to fix itself. If it did we wouldn’t need drastic action.
