Mexico City Council members then discussed Bill No. 2015-45, “An Ordinance Changing the Name of Walnut Street, which runs South from Liberty Street to Holt Street, South from Bolivar Street to Seminary Street and fronts Garfield Park to Tyronn Lue Boulevard within the City of Mexico, Missouri.” The request to rename the street was originally submitted by Dan Erdel at the June 8 city council meeting. A resolution to declare the name change was then published in The Mexico Ledger for one week, with no objections being made to its approval by any property owners on the section of the street in question.

Surprised about the naming of the street for a guy who didn't finish his career as a Bulldog. Had he stayed at Mexico it would seam to be a no-brainer.
