Yes Trump spent like a Drunken sailor on shore leave.... his policy in that regard was horrible and defenseless. The truth is neither side can run on a Platform of a balanced budget or reducing the debt.... Doing so is political suicide as people today demand Govt $$$$ to fix everything and to fund everything. The Desire for a Nanny state to spend other peoples money is the Norm.

The outstanding public debt was $10.6 trillion when former President Barack Obama took office on January 20, 2009; $19.9 trillion when former President Donald Trump took office on January 20, 2017; and $27.8 trillion when Biden took office on January 20, 2021, Treasury Department data shows.

So what Biden is telling us when he brags about himself at an MLK Day celebration, is that we just didn’t overspend as much as we did last year. If the national debt continues to grow, you haven’t cut anything. What do black folks think about an old white establishment segregationist brags about himself and barely mentions Martin Luther King other than his lies about attending a black church after Catholic mass everyday during high school and college??Then, he went to the Puerto Rican neighborhood in Scranton, PA to hang out with them.
