In Bush's home state, Trump is polling in first. The other Floridian, Rubio is 4th after Walker.

Trump on immigration this morning on CNN: What is your plan for the 11 million undocumented in the US. Trump: "We're going to get 'em out." CNN: "How do you plan to do that?" Trump: "We're going to get 'em out and then because they do jobs Americans don't want to do, we'll let 'em back in." CNN: "You said that, but what's your plan to accomplish this?" Trump: "Politicians don't think about this but I have, we're going to get 'em out." CNN: "Are you saying politicians haven't put any thought into this situation?" Trump: "Your not listening, I said we're going to get 'em out and then let them back in."

Now, had any other Presidential candidate given this interview, wouldn't they have been crucified for these answers yet conservatives everywhere are applauding this performance?????

I guess I am going to have to spend more time on this site because I have sworn off the Cardinals site until they score 5 runs which may very well be the rest of the year. Morning Joe had a focus group from Mass. and they all had high marks for Trump. It was amazing some of the things these people were saying. 1. He is just like us. 2. He would be an amazing Pres. 3. He tells it like it is. 4. His comments on immigration don't bother me.

Trump is refreshing if nothing else.

"Asked about Iran, Trump said it is “inconceivable” that New York Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer, who he always “thought loved Israel,” would support the Iran deal in the Senate.

After Savage interjected to ask whether Schumer has come out to say he is going to support the deal, Trump replied, “nobody knows what he is going to do,” before suggesting Israel might pressure him to oppose it.

“Actually I’m surprised that Israel isn’t putting tremendous pressure on Schumer because they do have a lot of power over Schumer,” Trump said, implying a sitting U.S. senator’s vote could be swayed by the pressure of a foreign power."

People all over are just tired of hearing politicians saying whatever they think will get them elected, then if they take any heat for their position they back off and "clarify" it. There isnt anything wrong with our imigration system. Problem is our federal govt has not been enforcing it for the last 30 years.

The problem is Reagan granted amnesty. Terrible presidency.

Well, I'm a conservative and I wouldn't vote for him if he was the only candidate on either ticket.

The fact that he doesn't let the press shame him or push him around is admirable. If only the true conservatives were bold enough to stand up proudly for what they believe instead of polling everything. Trump shows that people want a leader even if he's going the wrong direction.

I do think Cruz fits the Trump mold and is much better on the issues. Walker is pretty unapologetic too. Rand is close but has been bent a few times.

It's a lot easier to say what you would do when you aren't there to do it. Trump has some things right but there is a lot of hot air in between those things.
