He has hired all the people at Fox that were giving him good press except Hannity. He might be his new running mate for 2020.
Stepping back from criticizing something that effectively functioned as state media for the R party for 20 years:
It's impressive to see how skillful he has been at attacking Fox without any real pushback. For a long time, Rupert and Roger seemed to have something that some Rs could fear, something that could keep them in line. He's shown he doesn't have to play that game. Granted, it helps him that he's kept the biggest stars of the networks as his toadies, but it's still impressive.
Eh, the network is still a Trump love fest. Fox and Friends is morning-long infomercial for him, ala North Korean State TV. Tucker, Sean, and Laura would still cheer him on if he dropped bombs on every church in the United States. It's only in the more news-focused shows and in their high-quality polling results that he faces anything that could resemble push back on his desired world view.He has hired all the people at Fox that were giving him good press except Hannity.
