with a tough playoff loss to eventual Class 3 state champion, Maryville
42-7.

Senior Dylan Albertson(6-3 195) returns as one of the top
players in the Tri-County Conference at wideout and free safety. A key
component to Pinto success a season ago, he is a leader on the field.
On the line senior Alex Lewis(6-6 300) has division I
ability and is a force at the Class 2/3 level. First team all-conference
performer John Goans(6-3 230) returns at tight end and on
the defensive line.

About the Pintos:[/B] "
A lot of returners from a 13-1 season
that has the talent to put together another good season", commented
Marty Albertson. "(We have) good speed
and quickness that will give our team an explosive offense and flow
to the ball on defense."

With nine experienced returning members of the offense looks to improve on
the 39 points per game they scored a season ago. While the defense,
which returns 7 members led by Albertson, Lewis, and Goans allowed just 10
points per contest.

A season ago it took the Show-Me Bowl champion Maryville Spoofhounds to end
the Pinto season....can anyone stop them this year?

Peyton Wilde LB 5-9 180 Jr Cole Stockman LB 6-2 180 SO

About the Falcons:[/B]
"We were able to get several young kids
playing time last year and feel that they will be ready for varsity
play", stated head coach Brad Drehle. "Our success will be dictated by the development of the
underclassmen. Our seniors leadership will be key in that process.

We will need a new and young skill
group to quickly mature into playmakers in order to maintain the
level of success that we are used to."

With the departure of league Co-MVP Daniel Castillo as well as Derek Otto
the offense must regroup. Caleb Bischoff(5-9 180) and Dominic Jamerson(6-0
170) are experienced and ready to provide offensive spark in the Falcon
backfield.

Osage

Coach:[/B] Dan Henderson(152-102)

2012:[/B] The
Indians completed a 7-5 season, 4-3 in league play. The end of the
season came at the hands of a 42-7 playoff loss to Eldon.

Returning starters:[/B]

Players to watch:[/B]

Dylan Kennedy(6-2 195) LB,
Sr;

About the Indians:[/B] With the
departure of Tri-County Co-MVP Bo Dean to Camdenton the Indians must find
another source of offense.

Warsaw

Coach:[/B] Blake Markway(5-15)

2012:[/B] The
Wildcats completed a 2-8 season, 2-5 in league play. Butler ended the
Warsaw season with a 55-20 defeat.

Returning starters:[/B] 7
offense, 5
defense

Players to watch:[/B]

Michael Maybee (QB/SS) 6'1, 210lbs,
Senior Jeremy Eierman (All-Purpose-FS) 5'11, 185lbs, Junior Austyn
Bair (OT/DE) 6'0, 255lbs, Senior Gage Kee (OT/DT) 6'0, 260lbs,
Senior Chase Metcalf (OG/DT) 6'1, 260lbs Ryan Todd (RB/LB) 5'10,
165lbs, Junior Dakota Geromini (WR/CB) 5'10, 155lbs, Senior

About the Wildcats:[/B]

"In 2013 we look to utilize a lot of offensive weapons in our spread
attack", commented Markway. "A couple new players coming out this year will add speed and
height to the outside, and we get the return of 2011 starting QB and
team captain, Michael Maybee, who tore his ACL the first game of the
season in 2012. After his injury, we moved sophomore Jeremy Eierman
to QB who in 9 games last year at his new position had over 1,000
yards passing and over 1,000 yards rushing with 24 total touchdowns.
Returning both of these players gives us a lot of options in our
offense and where to use them to get the best match ups. Both will
spend time at QB.

"In the backfield, we have 3 very talented running
backs who last year played behind a 3-year starter, but will bring
more speed to the position, but must replace the toughness of Daniel Stantorf at RB. Our offensive line is as experienced, talented,
deep, and big as it has been since I've coached at Warsaw (2008). We
return 3 guys with 20+ varsity starts, led by
All-Conference/All-District players in Bair and Kee. Our line should
average around 240lbs across the board. While our offense
quadrupled their scoring from 2011 to this staff's first year in
2012, we did not see but a small improvement on defense.
Defensively, we will have an entire new staff and scheme (see help
area below)."

"Austin Steenburgen (Soph) and Paul Derks (Senior) have all the speed
and explosiveness to be big time running backs in our offense. New
players: Bailey Jelinek (younger brother of last year's 2nd Team
All-State WR Brad Jelinek) is built just like his brother but a
little taller. He should pose a big threat on the outside as should
new WR and standout baseball/basketball player Joey Cooner, who
offers the same size/speed combination. Michael Bryson (Junior,
LB/OL, 5'10, 215lbs) is a big hitter that must prove he can stay on
the field and has a chance to solidify our LB corps. Jake Lomax
(Senior) is the same type of player that needs to stay on the field
but goes 5'10, 275lbs on the DL/OL, and could be a big piece to the
defensive front."

"Jeremy Eierman, Junior- his older
brother was all-state football/baseball and drafted in 3rd round by
TB Rays (LSU commit). He comes from a very athletic family and
started as a freshman on both sides of the ball. As a sophomore,
stepped in for our injured QB and put up very impressive #'s (see
above). He could be a high level talent in two sports. Michael
Maybee, Sr- big athlete who has rehabbed well from torn ACL. NAIA
level kid who could play Linebacker or QB. Austyn Bair, Gage Kee,
and Chase Metcalf: all senior linemen who are short (6'0) but big
frames already at 250+, great students and character and could play
NAIA."

Hallsville

Coach:[/B] Devin Johnson(6-4)

2012:[/B] The
Indians finished 6-4 a season ago, 4-3 in their first season of Tri-County
Conference play.

Returning starters:[/B] 4
offense, 4
defense

Players to watch:[/B]

Alex Nelson Center 6'1 235 Jr Jacob
Huisman TE 6' 185 Sr 4 Rec. for 25 yards Taylor Kliethermes TE 6'3
220 Sr All Conference and All District DL Mason McCaleb OL 6'2 230
Jr

Newcomers to watch:[/B] Gabe Sheffield WR 6'4 185 JR Athletic
and has the ability to get the ball Skyler Creed RB 5'11 165 JR, Joey Forge QB 5'11 180
JR Smart player that makes the right decisions to run our offense
Derek West Ol/DL 6 195 SR 8 Tackles and 1 sack last year from DE.

Keep an eye out for
junior running back Skyler Creed. He is quick and has
explosive ability when the ball is in his hands. He is a dynamic
player who can change the game with a single touch.

About the Indians:[/B]
"This season sees a lot of turnover for
the Indians both offensively and defensively", added head coach
Devin Johnson. "We feel like we are
more athletic than we were a year ago, and with that comes more
opportunities to create favorable math ups. We are excited about the
players that we have and as long as we continue to progress the
right way, this could be another great year for the Indians.

We have to get better up front across
the board. Our O-Line and D-Line play has to get better throughout
the season."

Southern Boone

Coach:[/B] Roger VanDeZande(19-24)

2012:[/B] 1-9 a season ago,
the Eagles finished 0-7 in their first season of Tri-County Conference play.

Returning starters:[/B]

Players to watch:[/B]

Brice Mueller(6-4 170), QB,
Sr; Grant Sandifer(5-8 185) Jr, LB; David Holland(6-0 175) RB/CB, Sr; Dallas
Milliner(5-8 170) OL, Sr;

About the Eagles:[/B] A tough opening
season in the Tri-County was difficult, but the experience will pay off this
season for the Eagles. Muller has a big arm at quarterback and is
ready for his senior campaign along with David Holland, one of the big play
producers in the league.

Eldon

Coach:[/B] Shannon Jolley(41-75)

2012:[/B] The
Mustangs finished 8-5, 4-3 in the Tri-County Conference. A tough loss to
Osage can't dampen the spirit of Mustang fans who were excited to return to
the playoffs.

Returning starters:[/B]

Players to watch:[/B]

Wyatt Greenwalt(6-1
175), QB, Sr; Dalton Lister(5-9 150), WR/DB, Sr; Taylor Sides(6-3
235), TE, Sr; Zack Lemen(5-10 175), FS, Sr; Wil Simpson(5-9 150) FS, Jr;

About the Mustangs:[/B] Momentum from 2011
carries over to new season as Mustangs again finish above .500.
Greenwalt returns as one of the top quarterbacks in the league.

Versailles

Coach:[/B] Broc Silvers (0-0)

2012:[/B] The
Tigers finished 2-8, 1-6 in league play.

Returning starters:[/B]

Players to watch:[/B]

Kyle Turpin(6-1 180), FS, Sr; Michael Allen(6-3 180), QB,
Jr

About the Tigers:[/B] Broc Silvers takes
over in Versailles, his first head coaching job. Silvers knows the
league after serving as an assistant at Eldon.
