start of the 2012 Missouri prep football season.

10) Lathrop (2-0) at Hamilton (2-0)

Though 2-0, the Lathrop Mules will have their hands full in week 3 when they
face No. 1 ranked Hamilton. The Mules have opened the season under the
direction of Mike Thompson with a pair of shutout victories over King City
and Polo.
The Hamilton Hornet football machine is rolling once again. In a pair
of victories Hamilton has scored 72 points, allowing just 13. The
Hornet offense averages nearly 400-yards per game, with most of those on the
ground led by Derrick Hughes and his 178 per contest.
