If you are one of the posters who have bragged about your school's 5 star and 4 star recruits and you believe in the rankings of players and recruiting classes, then that means you must believe that winning games and/or divisions
in the SEC should be given more weight and more credit than other conferences.

12 of the top 25 recruiting classes in America are SEC schools.
This dwarfs any other conference. Winning in the SEC is a gauntlet
and should be weighted accordingly.

If you disagree then don't tout the ratings any more. And don't downgrade
Mizzou because they don't have a dozen 5 star players.

but the ratings services dont even agree....

MU is a great example....

as of last night their class rated..

18 according to ESPN
24 according to SCOUT
27 according to RIVALS

All three of those services rank significantly more SEC schools in the top 25 than any other conference.

Miz usually outperforms the rating services. HCGP finds the guys that fit the program and coaches them up almost better than anyone besides old ballz Snyder.

3peat was left speechless.
The 4 teams that made the playoff have something in common. They all recruit really well.

The Ducks had zero top-10 classes in the five years, and they also had
one outside the top 20 (it was 21st). The others ranged from 11th to
19th. Oregon was one of five teams in the final top 10 that had zero
top-10 recruiting classes.
Edit: linked article. See the biggest underachievers they list. Informative.
