Socialism ‘Never Worked,’ ‘We Stand For Freedom’
“I don’t think a government takeover of major parts of the American economy is a good idea,” Steyer said of Sanders’ socialist policies. “I don’t think it’s good for working people. I don’t think it’s good for families. I know that unchecked capitalism has failed. But the solution is not for the government to take over big parts of the economy.

About time he showed some cahonas. He has spent enough money on commercials to get attention, he should be stronger on stage. His impeach Trump commercials were stronger than he has been.

I wish he had cut the crap a long time ago and run as Republican. He probably thinks gun control is BS too.

Republicans already conceded to Trump. They are not even having primaries in 5 states.

He will demand car companies build exclusively electric cars, though car companies are already doing this. Steyer wants to be an authoritarian like the rest. Our capitalist system allows innovation. Along with 50% of the new patents are filed in the US in the health care field. These Dems never talk about progress, it destroys the need for them.

Lol I doubt this is a ringing endorsement, but I could potentially vote for Steyer.

After watching him last night, I, too, would potentially vote for him. Will be interesting to see him in action tonight. But was decently impressed with him in his town hall.

Not a fan of his #1 priority being climate change, but I guess there's gotta be some give and take.

His #1 priority on which he has spent MILLIONS the past two years was impeachment. Bahahahahaha. Good choice!!

I assume you have been on another planet for two years. That dude ran commercial after commercial for impeachment and you love him. So sweet.

Who said love? Of the Dems still essentially "in it", he's the most palatable.

Being the best democrat in this field is being like the best dirty diaper in a landfill.

There wasn't much substance to any of those commercials. Just impeach him, impeach him now. We can't wait, impeach him. I wouldn't have known anything about what he stands for where he would like to take the country in his commercials. At least Yang and Bloomberg presented a vision in their ads.
