I know about bump and grind and even bumpin uglies. But what is the reason mosporters use “bump” as a message? What does it achieve?

takes message back to top of the board. In the most cases lately trying to push the bot posts down the board
It takes a legit thread and "bumps" it to the top. Thus knocking down the bot threads. Helps keep the page fresh with actual threads. If you're a first time visitor to MoSports, would you rather see a forum filled with spam or actual football talk?

Yes, I know. I was speaking in generalities. Like if a first time user were to show up. Seeing nothing but spam might drive them away. We dont want new talent leaving!
We will find a way to fix this but it may involve moving to another board (admin is my current favorite). Stay tuned!

I confirm it. And then the next day I end up having to do it all over again. Anyone else having this issue?

They need to do one of two things other sites I use have done with success: 1) 6-digit code via text or email to enter or 2) Check a "you are Human" box to enter.

New development I see bots on the FB feed then click on this forum they are not showing up. Let's see 1) if that is the case for all and 2) how long it may last.
They do that for me, but its the ones I have blocked. Show on the feed but not the forum
I just checked one it was not an account I ignored but am amidst a comprehensive cleanout as work day permits to free up space in case Rivals for some reason doesn't fix this.
None of these now getting through whether ignored or not. If that becomes a trend for all this would be fixed i.e. they aren't allowing the bots in even though it shows them trying to post ads.
AAAAAND, doggone it, one just broke through. Onward with the fight BUT be forewarned this is my big Sprint Car Racing week so, other than today until circa 7 PM and tomorrow all day I will be offline the rest of the week.
