Cardinal Fans, trust me. We are better off losing now than to those people.

Can someone explain why we could not leave Martinez in?
When you use so many pitchers in the middle of the game you are bound
to run across one who is having a bad day. We did. Walking the lead off man
on pitches that aren't really close is driving me insane. But they will claim its
because the Giants have such great discipline when you couldn't reach the damn
ball with a boat paddle. Then Adams makes a horrible throw--because the Giants
make things happen...............

Would rather lose to the Royals in the WS than lose to anyone in the NLCS. I was 10 in '85, and it was brutal, but at least we were there. Can't win it, unless you're in it.

Can someone explain why we could not leave Martinez in? No, not one logically thinking baseball person can explain that. Only explanation = Matheneging. Stubborn SOB got lucky running Choate out there again, and then decided to double down with Gonzales. FAIL.

The truly mind boggling thing is when a team ties their own hands by putting Wacha on the roster. This is just freakin bizarre.

What is mind boggling is the way Matheny does things. I think he could screw up a wet dream.
