Good hire, what type of offense does he bring with him? How long has Helias been running the spread?

If what I saw out of South Callaway is any indication this is a GREAT hire just sorry for their budding program he is leaving. Cannot wait to see (provided he is coming back to Helias) what kinda magic QB Alex Faddoul performs this fall!

He applied at California before going to South Calloway. We weren't smart enough to hire him. Should be a great hire for for the Crusaders.
When did he apply to California? I would venture to say that coach Albertson has done a good job at California
He applied when we hired Lance Johnston. When Albertson was the superintendent he insisted against the principal's wishes to hire Lance. He needed someone to "buy" him three years time until he could get his years in to retire and hire himself to coach his kid. Coach Lab has done a great job rebuilding the program...for the second time now. Coach Lab is leaving so we will see what this next year brings. Thanks

Yes, that is an annual rumor. This year most believe it to be true. He would like to have the Head Coach title somewhere.
Lance was at Lexington before coming to California. His success here was mediocre. Great man, just to many forces working against him.
You can have him back at California. We are not a 1-5 team and at 3 loses can be attributed to his bonehead calls.

I agree with you... His little johnny must be the one on the bench not playing much at all... I guess coach Rulo told the QB to throw the interception Saturday night? Sometimes it comes down to kids making plays and not making plays.
Was not the QB that throw it. It was the 4th string QB on a pitchout. Get your information before you comment

I can't understand how this guy has snowed so many people. His inability to make adjustments and call plays in the heat of the moment has cost us at least 2 games. Also not taking what the defense is giving us is another fault. If I did what he has done to this program in my job I would be fired.
Doubtful, if you were hired to complete change an offense, or in your job, complete change how to complain, they would know there are growing pains. The spread offense vs the flexbone are not just simply lining up differently. It changes literally everything about the offense. They are polar opposites. Now, if you know the ins and outs of the flexbone offense, by all means, complain away.. Otherwise be patient and learn something about it.
