That'll make for 48 bowl games (96 out of 128 FBS teams making it to bowls); that's literally 75% of FBS teams making bowls!

Pretty soon the SEC will be the first conference to have every one of its members make it to a bowl (which will be nothing to be proud of despite what ESPN tries to say about it...)

The argument to have fewer bowls is dumb to me. I think it's awesome to have more bowl games. 2015 was definitely a down year, but I am not basketball fan, so it kills the time after the Superbowl. Besides, more kids can have the reward of a bowl experience.

I also DVR the Multi State High School State Championship games still on Foxsports Love them. Not fond of the rivals thing, but I will watch some of those games too.

128 teams..... there should be 64 bowl games. The bottom bowls could be the Toilet Bowl, the Puke Bowl, The Diarrhea Bowl, The LMFAO Bowl, The Loser Bowl, The Yellow Ribbon Bowl, The O-fer Bowl to name a few.

I like the Loser Bowl best. O-fer is a distant second. I have coached in both of those.
