Thoughts on Marceline at Valle Catholic

Should be a good game in Ste Gen on Saturday. Valle has a long winning streak going and Marceline's defense has been shutting out teams. Can Valle score on that defense? Is Valle healthy after all the injuries last week? A lot of questions to answer for Saturday's game. Should be a good one!

Valle usually likes to pass the ball. Not sure how effective that will be with the gusty winds they are predicting for Saturday. Could be anybody's game.

Yea I think the entire line was recruited in, along with the coaches and some of their crazy fans!

If anyone here seriously thinks Valle recruits, they are in for some big news. Valle Catholic does indeed recruit! It's just that they are in kindergarten when they do it. Valle's scouts have an incredible ability to predict things like that.

Marceline may have a very good defense, but how many points would they have given up if the opponent would have been the caliber of Valle? I bet it would have been more than 57. I would wager that Valle scores more than any team Marceline has played. JMO.

That 76-20 is over two games though. 41-20 and 35-0. Not exactly close games but not necessarily even either. Valle is missing some players now...

Marceline Hasn't seen anything like Valle this year.. Valle by 3-4 Td's IMO !! With that Said GO Marceline !!

I was wrong.... Valle won a dog fight. Hats off to Marceline! Having coached against them for a time, I should have known they would be ready to play football. One heck of a game. Valle again gets lucky with a missed extra point, as they did in the championship game one season.

That missed extra point really had no consequence toward the outcome of the game since that same kid kicked the field goal. No matter if Marceline made their extra point or not, the field goal would win the game.

You can not say that because the pressure would be put Valle to win. Big difference with having the ball tied up and having the ball down 1.

Guess we agree to disagree. I see Valle winning either way, down one or not. Don't think their kicker would of fallen to the pressure. Games over. Valle to the dome!
