What would happen if you just split the USA in two and had Republicans/Conservatives in one half and Democrats/Liberals in the other?

Centrists and libertarians have to pick a side and nobody can move.

Dems can ban guns, open their borders, have universal healthcare, merk all the babies they want, etc.

Repubs can open carry everywhere, have tough borders, more free market capitalism, ban abortion, etc.

All policies each side generally wants, they can get without gridlock.

I think we should let them have New England and the west coast. They aren't interested in anything else except Florida. We can charge insanely for them the get a green card to Florida.
I've actually been a proponent of this since they have no interest in accepting election results.
 
Not at all shocking, like I put in the title, none of the libs want to think, they're more interested in being ignorant "pee are eye see kay ess".

Not surprising, just disappointing.

I don't have to answer your stupid questions and I will respond whenever I like, although not to EVERY post like you do. You need to get married and have a family so you don't have to waste our time responding to 99% of every post someone makes. You try to make us think you are smart and know everything, but you fail miserably.

Neat, me too. But that's the difference between us. My responses are at least an attempt to participate in a discussion, you have no interest in that, you respond simply to be hateful. You need to grow up.

Here is what I "THINK" would happen.

The left would be deluged with immigrants all wanting the free utopia the left promises. They would borrow money against the equity of their half of the U.S. until they are insolvent and can get no more money. Nobody will work to earn any money as it is always the other guy who should pay all the bills. As things start going down hill, they will all start the blame game they excell at and strife will be rampant. The country will descend into a big huge ghetto of filth and corruption which will resort to violence. People will be beat to death (no guns) for food and clothing, and chaos will reign.

On the right, all the hard working citizens will build a great, strong country of laws. Due to hard work and less government interference, the country will thrive. The population will grow (we won't kill our children) and continue to become more powerful and wealthy.

Eventually the left side will die out from abortion, suicide and starvation and the right will inherit their country. And all would be well.

Yeah we all know no democrats ever work, they're all just free loaders and let the pubs take care of them. Let's see what happens when the courts kill Obamacare and the big mouth pubs that have wanted it done in since it was passed have NO plan to take it's place and the health insurance companies have NO idea what to do either. I just read that Mitt Romney has a plan waiting in the wings for the pubs to consider. That's pretty funny since Obamacare was modeled after HIS plan to start with. Oh wait I didn't even mention all the regulations you pubs will do away with, we'll see how that works out for ya after a few years. :rolleyes:

I sure wish I has all that tax money I've paid for nearly 50 years since I've never worked.Sure would help with my retirement form the jobs I never has.
Now tell me what the pubs have lined up for healthcare if the courts strike down Obamacare. They surely do have something since they've had so many years to come up with it.

I have never been on it but I know a lot of folks that have. Do you think those that are on it should just be dropped form any coverage at all? It's not so much that IT goes away but we have to have something to take it's place so no one is left out in the cold for coverage.Tell me why your beloved conservatives in congress that have tried from day one to kill it cannot come up with something to replace it after all this time! They have been against it for YEARS yet they have NOTHING to put in place of it. Trump said it would be easy, then he said "who knew healthcare was so complicated."

They can be covered by many insurance companies, the same way insurance worked for 100 years before Obamacare.

Only if they can afford it and have no pre-existing condition, or if they can afford it while they're still in school. A whole lot of folks that had insurance all that time got it at work.

So you are saying you should have something you can't afford?

The people that had insurance got it at work? What a crazy concept. You mean they quit their job when Obama gave them free insurance?

YOU said the way it worked for 100 years. Obamacare was not around til a few years ago and it's NOT free. Obamacare is not free for anybody I know. They are people that retired and no longer have insurance where they worked. Some still can't afford it because their income is too much for any subsidy. I guess you would rather have us pay for those with no insurance to go to the emergency room every time they need medical attention.
