Wow Mizzou football is getting worse thought after last year we would make
progress.Luck is not a div 1 QB not close. Don't see another win on schedule.
Middle Tenn is much better than us. Been Mizzou fan for a long time not fun
anymore, least back in the day when we where bad a t football we would be
good in basketball. Now we are bad at both oh well just find other things to
do. Don't see this coaching staff lasting long already read where new AD might
go after his guys.

They are getting a bigger share of $ by being in the SEC. Everything is fine.

The price of being a joke of the SEC. Wish we could get Kansas on the schedule. Oh
well only a couple more weeks to Mizzou hoops oh that's right they are a joke also.
 
Mizzou has officially returned to the Bob Stull era. Firmly in last place in the SEC East with no chance of climbing out. Welcome home to the cellar, Tigers!

Mizzou won East first 2 years but I strongly believe huge mistake they can't
recruit the same type athlete the elite SEC teams can and high school ball
in Mizzou is a joke compared to southern states . There are a few high d 1
players in Missouri Florida had 300 last year. A good fit for Mizzou now
is the MAC league we would be competitive in that league. That is the
type of player Mizzou gets and basketball could at least compete instead
of getting beat bad a lot. I have always been a die hard Mizzou fan and
would just like to see some success and it will never happen again in the
SEC.Look at the big 3 football last, basketball last, baseball last. And the
gap between Mizzou and good SEC teams is huge.

The move to the SEC was done for a lot of reasons outside of football. Namely, the instability of the big 12.

Pinkel did not recruit well the last few years, and it's obviously showing. The talent on offense is as bad as I've seen it since 2004. When you don't have a decent QB it's hard to win. The play calling was also bad today.

Basketball will be better after Kim Anderson gets fired this season. There's no reason Mizzou can't be one of the better basketball teams in the SEC. Football will never be elite because the budgets of the alabamas and Georgias of the SEC is much more than mizzou's, and we don't have a great recruiting base.

I think pinkel did pretty good for what I saw, your not going to get the best here to mu, you still wont if they keep letting the inmates run the asylum, I think his hands were tied last year and got out asap when he saw all the crap hit the fan, I don't know the deal with Anderson, you would think he could get some guys here, maybe this will be the year otherwise I think he will be gone, some places just are not good fits
 
Going get worse before it gets better... National recruiting is going be hard with the events on campus. Most people outside of MO thinks its a racist school right now.
 
I used to be a big mizzou fan but now im hopin that they go in the cellar with ku. Between fergueson and mizzou the last couple years this state isnt much to look at and be proud of

Wooden couldn't win here now. Norm Stewart got the best players out
of Missouri best players now don't want any part of Mizzou. The reputation
of the school is not good. Your lucky if they get 3 star basketball players.
You can bring a new coach it will make no difference coaches don't play.
We have to face the facts to much damage done we need to look to get in
a conference that we can recruit and compete. Look at the top 100 signes
in football and basketball you will see none going to Missouri.

You're high if you think Mizzou should go to the MAC.

Why do you think they should stay in SEC and finish last year in and year
out. If you think big time recruits are coming to Missouri you don't read
recruiting sites like I do. They have the worst 2017 recruiting class in SEC and
this will never change. Why is the total freshmen class at Missouri University
the smallest in many years, it is not where students want to attend. No leadership
in the administration of the college.

So you'd rather them get $40 million less per year for the entire athletic department by playing in the MAC?

Not sure if you're REALLY paying attention to the direction of college athletics, but in 10 years it's going to be a lot better to be in Mizzou's position than it is to be in Western Michigan or Northern Illinois from a financial standpoint.
