A Democrat legislator in Virginia passed a bill, making it a misdemeanor if you assault policeman. Removing a mandatory jail sentence if the officer is not injured. They're getting rid of penalties for assaulting police officers. Well done.

This is exactly how I feel about police. Do they need to be defunded? No way. They have a tough job. But not all of them are capable to handle it. I tell a policeman, (any officer of the law), first responder, veteran, that I appreciate their service or I appreciate what they do. I do it at Walmart, on the street at the court house or where ever I see them and I feel good about it. They have a tough job ( I know I repeated a fact).
I can't for the life of me understand why some of them have done the things they have done recently, but I can't judge them without walking in their shoes. All I can say is I hope they have used their best judgement. Have a good weekend...Crown and coke is gooood.
