Jesus.
If you die in your sins without his grace, the Bible is clear that you will spend eternity in fiery hell and judgment. Jesus spoke way more about hell than he did heaven.
Unless you too repent of your sin and trust in Christ alone and His righteousness, you will never find true peace.
I’m thankful for Christmas, when we celebrate (albeit the wrong time of year, oh well) the coming of a Baby into the world through the womb of a teenager out of wedlock amidst shepherds who raised sacrificial lambs to come and be the Passover lamb for all of humanity.
Only one life, twill soon be past. Only what is done for Christ will last.
When you think about the logical end of your worldview outside of Christ, there really is no point. Eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die. Yolo.
Only thing is, we all live forever. Heaven or hell?
Grace or wrath?
Peace or strife?
Love or hate?
Truth or lies.
Micah 5:2... some 500 years before Jesus says the messiah would come from Bethlehem.
Hosea says the messiah would come out of Egypt (and he did) after fleeing from Herod’s murder of male born Israelites.
It goes on and on.
He’s real. He’s true. And we will all give an account for what we did with that truth.
And whether we like it or not, every knee will now and every tongue will confess “Jesus is Lord.”
Merry Christmas to all. May God come soon and heal our land and world and make things right again.
