Kansas City, MO
1. District 8 in Class 4 was much deeper than District 5.
2. Webb was overrated all year from about week 3.
3. Kearney no longer has an offense.
4. Staley might be a power house for years to come. They get players from Four districts.
5. Blue Springs still can't win the big one.
6. CJ still can't even win the little one.
7. Kansas had a better team than anyone in Missouri this year.
8. Liberty, Mo was overrated AGAIN.
9. Coach Jones at LIberty North is not a miracle worker--yet.
10. Excelsior Springs may be back on the football map for a while--at least on the winning side of the map.

I really doubt Bishop Miege, or whoever else he could mention could beat whoever would be number one in their class in Missouri. Maybe it’s calpreps who told him? Lol

idk. Bishop Miege gets some of the best kids from both sides of state line. Coach is former KC chiefs player with connections to big time schools.

Like the two highest rated players in the state of Kansas: 3 star Jafar Armstrong that signed with Notre Dame, and 3 star Djimon Colbert, that signed with Iowa. Yes, they have former Chiefs that help coach there--like Tim Grunhard. But their schedule, their scores..their domination of larger schools... I would love to see a CBC v.s Miege game. It would be fantastic. Yes, Calpreps has them right with CBC, and ahead of everyone else in Missouri.

It will be interesting to see if the KSHSAA goes through with adopting a multiplier rule similar to what Missouri has. There are a lot of people statewide over there who are very unhappy with Miege being classified as a class 4 school.

Really? When did he play for the Chiefs? I follow them pretty closely and don't remember him.

Class 4 is already divided into two divisions. Miege is D1 (and won state this year...again). Holcomb won the Division 2 title this season.

I know you are kidding...but just in case....

Tim Grunhard grew up in Chicago, Illinois and attended St. Laurence High School in Burbank. He later moved to South Bend, Indiana where he later played on some of the most famous teams in all of Notre Dame's storied history. He started every game in 1988 when the Irish went undefeated and won the national championship. That season included victories over 3 otherwise undefeated teams: West Virginia in the Fiesta Bowl, USC in a #1 vs. #2 showdown on the final weekend of the regular season, and the 31–30 win over Miami at Notre Dame Stadium that is considered one of the greatest college football games ever played.[1]

NFL career
Grunhard was a second round draft pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 1990 and was an anchor for the Chiefs' teams of the 1990s, alongside Dave Szott. During that time, he started 164 games for the Chiefs, which ranks third in franchise history. Throughout his playing career, Grunhard was always one of the most popular figures with fans and the community. Even after retiring he still holds that respect across the city.[citation needed] Grunhard made his first and only appearance in the Pro Bowl following the 1999 NFL season after Denver Broncos center Tom Nalen was forced to miss the game due to injury.[2]

Oh, notice PN has moved to a new team? Hes now back on the PC train (which derailed in the semis, but oh well). Guess Karnee and Staley didnt want him. And what happened to his precious parkway in 2016?

Now I'm laughing. A team that BARELY got by PC...who got turbo clocked by Staley... IS going to stay in a game with Miege...who beat two teams higher ranked than anyone Webb played...Platte County being the highest...AGAIN..PC..the team that lost to Kearney and got turbo clocked by Staley.

Please drop your crack pipe immediately.

Does it mean anything that Carl Junction has less trouble with Carthage than Staley did?

Yep.

Just for the record, there are a lot of us KC guys that (while we might agree with some or even most) aren't joining the argument with Joey.

I just wanted to point that out before he ruins all of our reputations.

The way I understand it runs the show. He can't be the head coach because he is not a faculty member.
He was the head coach prior to going to Kansas. I think it is because the other guy didn't give up the HC job when Grunhard came back.

It wouldn't surprise me if he is the one calling all the shots though.

Not really. Wasn't that at the BEGINNING of the season? It means nothing. This is playoff football. And i don't think scoring on every offensive possession is "having trouble." When a team scores over 50 points, is it really having trouble? Bahhahaha
