He makes me nervous against quality lineups, but he sure has been good. Hopefully Flaherty and Hudson can be ready for some quality innings too. Neither looked sharp the other day though. Man, if Waino could give them a QS it'd be awesome. The only answer is Waino. Since July the Birds are 11-1 in his starts. His record is 9-1 over that span. In that loss he gave up 2 runs in 6 innings. His worst outing was last week against the Brewers where he gave up the slam in the first inning. The Birds came back and won that game. He went 6 innings or more in every other game. His only start against the Dodgers was earlier this month. He pitched into the 9th picking up another win. He last saw San Fran in July going 1-1. But that was before he really got going. I'm all in on Waino. How can it be anyone else?
I'm with ya all the way, just wonder if anybody had some else in mind. Sure don't know who it would be right now. IF they keep going they'll have to find a couple more and have the bullpen ready. Hopefully the offense can keep knockin the ball all over the place. The only answer is Waino. Since July the Birds are 11-1 in his starts. His record is 9-1 over that span.
