They have destroyed the NFL with new rules/penalties.

I like going back and watching old classic NFL games from the 60s and
70s. It is obvious when you watch those games how they have destroyed
the game with new penalties. Here are some shocking numbers (and this
only reflects numbers from the past eight years 2006-2014.)
They are turning the game into glorified flag football.

48% Increase in Defensive Holding calls.
27% increase in Defensive Pass Interference calls.
23% increase in Illegal Contact.

Killing the game with penalties:

Just from 2006 to 2014, a dramatic increase in penalties
called. Just look at the season
averages:

2014: 106 (12%
increase) per team 888 yards (13% increase)
2006:
95 per team 786 yards.

That being said, I will save my money--and spend my time watching traveling to top notch high school games in KC and SW Missouri.
