Dr. Kathrin Jansen, head of the Vaccine department @ Pfizer has reported, " We have never taken any money from the US government or anyone else. "

Mike Pence is trying to give credit to the " Trump Administration " for Pfizer's successful vaccine.

Do we have anyone on this Crap board agreeing with Mike Pence in thinking the Trump Administration should receive credit for the Pfizer success?

President elect Joe Biden has appointed a " Task Force panel " to get Covid under control. This Task force is similar to the one Obama left Don Trump however Don trump said, it was not needed and disbanded it.
Shame on Don Trump for aiding in the rise of Covid-19 and his followers for believing in him as the Virus hits daily records.

it appears the stock market is hitting record highs today because of positive take on the new Vaccine, Don Trump out and Joe Biden will be our new President on January 20, 2021.

Everything in the above post can be " Facts Checked " as accurate however the stock market quote is an opinion.

As NPR reported in July, the government reached a deal for nearly two billion dollars to help distribute the vaccine. Pfizer’s own press release in July announced that the U.S. government placed an initial order of 100 million doses for $1.95 billion. No money went specifically into the vaccine’s research and development, but Pfizer absolutely did take government money, and was forced to walk back Jansen’s statement.

In an update to their story, Newsweek provided this key clarification, “This page has been updated to clarify Jansen’s comments following further details from a Pfizer spokesperson. The spokesperson clarified that its vaccine is linked to Operation Warp Speed, though its research and development has not taken funding from the federal government. The headline was also updated for clarity.”
Chris thanks for the update. Kathrin Jansen's statement still stands, Pfizer's did not take money from the United States Government or anyone else. I'm guessing the Pfizer corporation will make big profits from countries all over the world including the United States
I still stand by my post that Mike Pence want the Trump Administration to receive credit for Pfizer's development of the Vaccine to counter Covid-19 however Mike Pence is wrong to say Don Trump deserves credit.

Who is the spokesperson? I believe there are some connection between Pfizer and Wash Speed but I'm not sure how much. I read something dated on July 22 and Oct. 22 pertaining to Wash speed.

IF Trump had not fast tracked this it would be another year before it was even close to ready. Red Tape and the FDA can be a bug a boo.

Of course the Left wouldn't want any credit going to Trump at based on their emotion as opposed to reality.

Pfiser is only developing the vaccine at this point, it hasn't been approved yet. So there isn't any red tape or FDA approval process to work thru yet.

Of course the trumpettes want to give one term donnie the credit based on emotion as opposed to reality.

LOL that's all they got...that there is no Red Tape until the FDA approval and trial stages.
