The Sullivan Invitational is played a few day after thanksgiving and will add Class 5 Waynesville and Class 4 Farmington. It will be difficult for teams like St. Clair, Steelville, and St. James to compete with Farmington and Waynesville. I am predicting one of the two additions will win the championship @ Sullivans. ( My friend Marshall from Sullivan should post on the above ).

This maybe the year past invitationals tournaments will end and new tournaments will emerge.

Will Vianney have eight teams or disband?

Is Pattonville having trouble finding eight teams?

The Zumwalt North invitational is having trouble finding seven teams to compete with powerful Sikeston and could disband.

The Coaches vs Cancer Christmas Tournament @ Meramec was looking for teams but should have 16 teams soon.

Do we have other tournaments looking to add teams?

metro, this is really good news for area fans. This could evolve into an outstanding early tourney. Sullivan has excellent facilities and nice proximity. In all my years coaching at Sullivan, I never had any tournament games, invitational or district, on the Sullivan home court. Something like this would really have been nice years ago. But we were involved early in the season in the legendary Borgia Tournament. You probably have some nice memories of that, too.
Don't know if you are aware of this, but my son is a red shirt freshman in the Missouri State football program. He's at around 260 lbs. His last 40 was 4.75. Thought you'd be interested.
