Well, preppys. Like I said on Friday. I was taking the weekend off and gonna re-evaluate on Monday. Bottom line, it's bad. Very bad. The bots are no longer just posting about drugs. But many other things. Some now have profile pictures. One even followed @thetophat2021 !!

So that brings us to next steps. @cardsfan200306 made a back up site. If this doesnt stop, we might have to move there. We could also move to another forum on MoSports. Certainly this has to stop at some point??

In the meantime, I'll still battle the bots as much as I can.

FIGHT ON! IF this continues for another month I will have to move Pick Em either to X or the new site or both. Will also do some sort of prize increase for those who do play but again let's hope this resolves soon.

Just found another never before event.................someone felt the need to add some very weird GIF to one of my messages on the Political Crap board.

I definitely think so and (not being paranoid just observant) yours truly, for some odd reason, seems to be the target. If that is the case you are wasting your time/money.

A classic bot attack will actually behave like a multiplying virus like this BUT these NEVER follow anyone plus now this new development. If someone is trying to get me to quit the site study years past. NEVER. GONNA. HAPPEN.

There is an immediate strategy I support in full. FLOOD the Political Crap board with FB messages. If someone truly is protecting that this could be a way to end this.............

The point is not nearly to sell anything nor, frankly, is it to steal IDs. This is a blatant attempt by some aggrieved former/current poster to crash the site.

Although I am not IT for a living I am very well trained in cyber security and have experienced several breaches/attacks the past 20 years and this continues to look, to me, like a specific attack on this site by a very tech savvy individual (with or without help) with some perceived grievance NOT someone just doing it for kicks. Bots never follow accounts (mine last Sunday included a header that really freaked me out because it seemed personal) plus I have pointed out those long trolling, mocking messages.

I respect everyone's points of view and not one of us knows exactly what is going on just glad it appears to be subsiding.
