it can, if a school adds they can expand up to c1 up to 42 however this would throw the math off on upper classes so my guess is they would keep it the same. this is why knowing every new team, every team not returning and every co-op is so important. unfortunately mshsaa does not like transparency. so i have to guess at what they will do. they are big on keeping classes as equal as they can at 2-5 so 2 at 57 and 2 at 58, with 36 in c1 seems more logical than 3 at 57 1 at 58 and 37 in c1

We have Linn and Veritas Christian "joining" or "rejoining" 11 man. We lose Wellington to 8 man for a net +1. I think they go 37 in Class 1. We shall see.

It says that but later on in the paragraph it says that they will do what they can to preserve the math across all classes. They do this to leave them discretionary options which is why these are all predictions. We won't know every team that signs up or drops out of playoff eligibility for 2 weeks. This is just fun to do and helps create conversation
