Unreal. Unreal. Unreal. Giving up the #15 pick for a 35 year old OF...just unreal.

The only way this can possibly make sense is if they intend to sign a really big FA or two on top of this, in which case they would have lost the pick anyway. Could they be in the market for a big SP as well?

NL is getting interesting if the Mets also want to make a move for the playoffs. Cubs, Mets, Dodgers, Giants, etc. - Cards need to improve or we could get left behind.

The Cards need more guys to play up to their potential, or previous abilities.

The probability of Holliday, Molina or Peralta improving significantly is very small. Carp is likely to never match his 2013 numbers. Wong can keep getting better. Jay will never have power. Adams can hit 20+.
Its simple. Sign or trade for a RF with proven pop.

How much money do you give or who and how many will you trade?

You can take Cuddyer off the list, the Mets scooped him up for a 2 year 21 million dollar deal.

Seems like he would have been the perfect pick up at that price. MO just doesn't like to give up that draft pick.
