The list narrowed down for SEMO's men's head coaching position

Multiple people with varying knowledge of the search have identified recently fired Mississippi State coach Rick Ray, former Missouri assistant Tim Fuller, Arkansas assistant TJ Cleveland, Oklahoma assistant Lew Hill and Virginia Tech assistant Isaac Chew as people athletic director Mark Alnutt are considering for the job. That's not what it says really

Nowhere in there does it say that's a finalist list, just who they've heard that Semo has talked to. There could be others, although the name I've heard for a week or so now is on that list.

SEMO has opportunity and the money will come latter

SEMO appears to be trying their best to bring in someone who can move the basketball team to the next level. It could get down to money and opportunity when hiring the next head coach @ SEMO.

The top salary in the OVC is around four hundred fifty thousand dollars. SIU=E new coach is reported @ $ 180,000.00. The new coach @ SEMO will have a great opportunity for success and the big bucks could come latter. I see the new salary range for the new head coach @ SEMO being in the $ 200,000.00 to the $ 300,000.00 range however my guess is the new coach will sign for $ 225,000.00 with incentives.

I am not sure who you have been hearing, but my guess is probably one of the two MU connected assistants.

Personal opinion, I was a manager at SEMO when Hill was there for a year. Hill is a great guy, and great recruiter. He has not chased a lot of jobs, but he has consistently wanted this job, and hasn't gotten it, because of his connection to Shumate. Now that King Dobbins is leaving that will not hurt him. Hill was young when he was here, but he has been with Kruger for a long time now and he deserves his chance at this job. He would do a great job!

The list Ba11 gave was the same one in our paper yesterday. It also said they plan to have a coach by next Wednesday... unless they decide to interview others.
