Don't yell at me B&G but this has been going on long before Obama care. I am basing this on my situation only as I have been paying higher deductibles on my auto, health, and homeowners long before Obama care to keep my premiums at an affordable level.

Wasn't blaming it on obamacare, however with more people being forced on to healthcare someone has to pay for it. We just got rate increases for the company that I do logistics for. I'm waiting for the hammer to fall here. I'm lucky, my wife has decent healthcare that our baby boy is on here. But we've seen the warnings at my current company. They pay our insurance 100%, and we have a feeling with the next increase we may be SOL.

May save me more money to get the basic insurance through Obummer and save the dollars away to pay out of pocket. I haven't been to the doctor/hospital if 15 years.

Whats the alternative? When your company has 20 employees and you pay 100%, and you get the letter that your previous plan is no longer available, but the new plan will be offered at just a 30-40% increase for premiums?

It's forcing people into their system. If the most basic health coverage available from Obamacare is cheaper than BCBS, then yes, Obamacare it is.

It's amazing that people can't see this.

My home owners insurance raised my deductible for tornadoes because other parts of Missouri have so many tornadoes. That has NOTHING to do with Obamacare, and everything to do with profits!! I've had home owners coverage for 40 years and have NEVER had a claim of any kind, why should I have to pay more if I do have claim someday because someone else already has.
