I was pretty amazing at the people I know who immediately went to the gym today. Not a place I want to go right now.
I'm going to keep being pretty cautious. Granted, it's a luxury that I can do so. But I'm not opposed to having a relative over for dinner or something like that, as long as they are also generally staying home.
Everyone on here take care of yourselves. We are going to stay super cautious here (Rolla).
The NY Times article is what I am worried about (3,000 a day by June 1), but I sure hope they are wrong, after all I read an expert on here say it would be around 7,000 total.

For now going to try and stay cautious, my kids pointed out to me that Silver Dollar city should be opening up and I had to explain I don't think that will be happening this year.
I will admit I misjudged this thing in the beginning...so not going to do that again. Lawrence County just got our first "official" positive test Lawrence county/Monett, but people are kidding themselves if they think that this is the first and only one. We are just going to sit by the pool at the house and enjoy the summer.
I read Madonna had a test done for the antibodies and it showed she had had it at sometime, I guess so much for the old getting sick...hell she is 61.

That is a blatant lie. I've never thought there should be anything shut down other than travel from China.
It was 2.2 million is US assuming no behavior changed which was felt out stupid for a model. Imagine 500,000 dead and no one changes their behavior at all. That was the original model.

Yes it was and it was the ONLY estimate out there. It was the reason I started the thread.
Just because the NYT used to do real journalism. We expect accuracy. Inaccurate journalism starts wars. Every single major news outlet has printed evidence of missing the mark, including Fox.
