To be fair to New York we are farther along in this pandemic and know more about Covid and how to treat those with it now then we did back in April.

I know of a nurse who went to New York and to I believe Texas recently and they said they wished they knew what they know now back then, we are going to get better over time and better treatments are going to come out. And hopefully hospitals are better prepared today then they were back in March and April.

While it is clear Cuomo fumbled the ball and I have said that many times on here, Bill wanted to shut down schools and New York weeks before they actually did it, he also wanted to create a stay at home order, but in all those cases Cuomo would override his request saying only the Governor had that power and he felt it was safe. Had Cuomo let Bill do what he wanted when he wanted New York would have never suffered like they did.

Knowledge of how to handle a situation hasn't helped with the rioters. What makes you think they would have used said knowledge against the sickness?

You know some people are going to do what they want. Recently on a local podcast I listen to they had a survey on Mask and why SWMo is so anti mask. Many on of the people they polled said that they are not anti mask but just that Missouri and especially Green county has been sending out mixed messages wearing mask. One person talked about the rioters put a few mentioned that Green County had said it is okay to go swimming without a mask. The guy running the podcast said I will give you a mask and I want to see you swim two laps and then if you survive that I want you to tell me if Green County saying you can swim without a masked is still sending out mixed signal or just common sense LOL nobody took him up on the offer. And the other part of that is really most said they still wear mask, but they are frustrated by the left who is bitching the most about mask social distancing and no large gathering, but while they say that they seem to be the ones breaking the rules more frequently. They used Johns funeral and the riots as just some of the examples. Which the left seems to be tone death on. Many mentioned that they could have held off on all of the pomp and circumstances until Spring.... like they are asking the public to do, but no they don't have to, but yet they expect the public to follow in their words and get pissed when the follow their led instead. It was really interesting.

The second part of your question I hope you are not serious....are you telling me doctors if they had knowledge on how to better treat Covid patients would hold it back because they are in a blue state? But then again maybe I am confused LOL that does happen.

No on everything else. Cuomo got all the Fed. support that he wanted and still blamed Trump. I've listened to his press briefings. He is awful.
Cuomo and the media lied that it was the shutdown that slowed the virus. It just went through the population before they could do anything.
NY is at near-zero cases now, and Communist Diblasio is setting up checkpoints and says indoor dining will remain shut down till June 2021.

While Cuomo is calling all his rich friends to come back and spend money in NYC again cause the city is about to go under.

A month ago, Blasio was threatening to sue the Trump admin if they sent the Feds in to help the city. Now he’s begging for them or he doesn’t think they can make it and he will have yo lay off 22k employees.
