Yes and there were immigration centers at Ellis Island equipped to deal with the ships that came in to DOCUMENT all the immigrants. It wasn't just an endless stampede where no one knew who was coming.

The post wasn't about being a victim it went right over your head. It was basically about our own history. The statue of liberty is great. But America would not exist today as we know had the country not been stolen from the native's. So I was just pointing out that Duck like so many of you is taking a time in history to justify what he wants today. That was a different time and a different landscape, Just like now, as the old saying goes I cannot raise my kids like my parents raised me, because I was raised for a world that no longer exist. Today our immigration system has not kept up with today's world and today's issues.

Two days later, Trump's nazi, Stephen Miller got to him and Trump said the deal was a no go and has been blaming the dems for months and months. Do you not follow the news at all?

After that, the Dems have pretty much given up on getting anything done with the lying backstabbing POS. On top of that they just gave in and gave him 4+ billion for the "crisis" he created.

They came to an agreement. A rare moment and he pissed on the fire. They had a compromise, then 2 days later he said fuuuget about it. He was getting 20+ billion for the wall and much stricter enforcement on illegals. It was a fair compromise by repubs and dems. The repubs wouldnt vote against their king once he changed his mind. So how is Trump responsible for hundreds of thousands of people leaving their homes all over the world and trying to illegally enter the USA??

Seems it’s the people who have been in DC the last 30 years running our govt who are responsible ,,not the guy that just showed up
