Why should I believe Bernie sanders cares about me? I went to school and got an education that allows me to make pretty decent money. Bernie seems to believe that if you have money there's no way you got it ethically, so you should be punished. I'm not a pull yourself up by your bootstraps guy but I don't think I should be punished for working hard just because I make a decent salary.
You can keep trying to talk yourself into believing Bernie is a bad guy to justify/rationalize voting for Big Fake Clinton. But you know Bernie is not beholden to Wall Street, Private Prisons, Fossil Fuels, etc like Bush-Clinton. Bernie is the only one who has a chance to throw out Citizens united and fix our country.

Do you actually think if Sanders is President you will be paying so much more in taxes that it will affect your lifestyle? That's what gets me about people with money, that suddenly paying a little more in taxes will cause them to have to live on hamburger helper.
I don't know. Right now I guess technically I'm slightly upper middle class. Doesn't really feel that way but that's what the numbers tell me. So yeah, more taxes would affect my lifestyle. The larger point is that sanders seems to think those with money got it immorally and should be punished.
No, but the statistics would suggest I'm headed for upper middle class. When I'm at that position I wouldn't mind paying more taxes, but right now I don't feel like I should.I guess cow is headed for the 1%.

That is the thing with libs. They always think those making more than them don't "need" it. When they get there, they discover it isn't "fair" that they earned it and someone thinks they don't deserve it. It's just a matter of time till Cowherd has an account in the Caymans.
I don't really think you understand what I'm saying. I'll never be rich, first off. Second, I clearly said when I have real money I think I should pay more in taxes. Third, my problem with sanders is that he wants me to pay more in taxes right now it seems like and I don't like how he pits people with money against people that don't have money.

I'd prefer that we deal with the problem instead of demonizing those people with money. A lot of people earned their money honorably, a fact Bernie can't seem to wrap his mind around.

I am not rich by any stretch of the imagination as I am on a fixed income. I believe that we are all on this earth by the grace of God and the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few(Spock). I live a comfortable life and if paying a little more in taxes will help the poor I have no problem as opposed to paying $50 a year less in taxes so the Koch brothers can pay millions less!
If paying extra taxes would "guarantee" that our roads would be better, our public transit more efficient, our streets more safe, then sure most Americans would be for that.
The problem is however, the Federal Government. It is just an extension of both political parties.
Money set aside for use on an interstate or bridge never finds its way to being used for that purpose without a political rider attached .
Until people unite again on what's best for all of America, not just the Democrat or Republican Party then things will remain the same, divided....

Lol only thing my parents gave me after high school was health insurance. the rest was on me until 22. Then I was on my own.
I worked more Knuckle busting jobs than your manicures could handle, to get by or make extra $$$$. I took a beer bottle to the dome during Homecoming 2007 while working as a bouncer at Smittys. Think I made $100 that night. Worked construction in the summers and bailed hay in the evenings. $10 an hour carrying shingles up a 20' extension ladder.
Last thing I wanted to do was suck more funds from my parents, that they worked so hard for.
Guess you have no issue being on your mommy and daddy's pay roll.
