Mitch McConnell decided to allow the sanctions to be dropped against Oleg Deripaska, the Russian oligarch that was sanctioned for his involvement in their interference in our election. Then out of the blue one of his company's decided to spend a couple hundred million to build a new plant in Kentucky. Just a coincidence I'm sure.
Former La. congressman Vitter who is a now a lobbyist for that company and whose wife had been nominated for a federal judge spot but was so terribly unqualified they had to pull her off the list was suddenly revived and put on the fast track and was confirmed by the senate for that spot. Just another coincidence I'm sure.

The amount of corruption is just staggering.
The only thing bringing me any joy in the news is stuff like this

But more importantly, the "Americans" who keep defending a president who pardons a war criminal convicted of shooting a little girl and an old man for fun, need to stop acting like they are "pro life".

After pushing the Trump-Russia 'collusion' hoax, the Jussie Smollett 'hate crime' hoax, the Covington kids hoax and the Kavanaugh 'gang rape' hoax, I don't think US news media has a right to accuse anybody of 'pushing dangerous conspiracy theories' or 'dividing the country'.

How would a person have an original thought about what the former Secretary of State tells lawmakers?

You are such a left wing shill.

Duck doesn't have an original idea in his head was my point. He'd rather rely on his echo chamber on Twitter to tell him what to think.

He was a big fan of Tillerson while he was Sec. of State.
At least he had a little bit of sense about him. I can see why he didn't stick around the clown show in this WH. Trump is still screaming witch hunt after the 8th person he hired has been indicted. This one for bribing Manafort for job in the administration. Nothing to see here it's all a hoax.

I see our illustrious Senate Majority Leader says if there is an SC Justice vacancy next year he WOULD fill that job. What happened to the all those 'years of precedence' that you do NOT fill such a vacancy in an election? The man should be removed from office if that should happen after what he did to Merrick Garland/Obama!

I agree with this 3R, haven't dug deep on this, but on the surface, it seems very hypocritical.

What else should I say about someone who blindly votes for a party even though he apparently doesn't know half of their platform?
Probably covers 98% of the population, both parties.
I found the interview with the 60+ year old conservative lady at a town hall meeting that what Mueller had said in he speech yesterday, was in the report. She just went by what Barr presented in his 4 page white wash. She couldn't believe he said “If we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so.”
So don't talk about people blindly voting, or winch will be crying to a moderator to ban you.

3R is just particularly egregious about it.

There was another woman I saw today who had no idea there was any obstruction of justice listed in the Mueller report. She said she thought until this Tuesday that Trump had been completely exonerated. His lies are swallowed whole by a lot of people.

Let's talk about someone who is grossly uniformed. Our 'stable genius' president thinks 'the courts' can stop an impeachment proceeding! He has no idea the courts can't start or stop it and have NO say in the matter whatsoever! And THIS is the guy you are all in favor of having to run the most powerful country on earth!

How many times do I need to remind you, I didn't vote for him?

Yes it was

My vote for Gary Johnson was a vote for Gary Johnson because I believe in the majority of the Libertarian platform. If I had wanted to support Donald Trump, I would have voted for him. Having said that, I support the Republican platform much more than the Democrats, so why would it be at all surprising that I would defend conservative positions instead of just being against Trump?

A vote for a Libertarian was more a vote for Hillary than a vote for Trump since you would be much more likely to vote Republican than Democrat as a Libertarian if only given the two options.
