The Chiefs were just flagged......AGAIN

Not a Chiefs fan, but that was unbelievable how many "flags" they had called on them!

Which one in the first QT wasn't a penalty?
The personal foul on the defensive back on the Rams opening drive was BRUTAL! The right tackle for the Rams moved early ALL NIGHT and was never called. The Chiefs did themselves no favors, too many dumb penalties and turnovers, but the refs made the game about them a few too many times.

i thought one of the punt returns where Chief's player barely touched the guy in the back with is hands and they called it

The Griefs were caught violating the rules. If they don't want flagged....don't foul.

Yes, there were two or three ridiculous flags that shouldn't have been thrown (and a few that should have been) against KC, but, most of them were legit.

What stood out the most were two strip sacks - scoop n score - and INTs.

Those aren't the refs fault.

It was a very good football game, lost to a good team on the road. The officials were there to be seen, and they were....A LOT!

I prefer a game where the officials are less visible as well.
But, I kept thinking --- after it was apparent HOW they were going to call the game??? Why not learn from that and not push the envelope so to speak?
Being able to control those emotions will be important down the stretch.

I don’t know how anyone can stomach the NFL anymore....especially if Chris Collinsworth’s whiny voice is droning on in the background.

I said this the day it was announced: I loved the Chiefs chances in Mexico City. Not so much in an understandably emotion laden LA.

There are "rule violations" on every play in the NFL. Illegal contact, holding, or pass interference could be called on 90% of pass plays. The offensive line could be called for holding on about 80% of plays (they missed a major one on Goffs touchdown run).

That said...after the first half, the game seemed to be less "flaggy" and they were allowed to play a little more.

Yep. The teams, esp KC, seemed to adjust.
