Rubio is a what most would call a true Pub. Trump was a Democrat and when I say Dem he is not the Corp Dems of Clinton but more of a hybrid of the old Bluedog and Corp Clinton dems. So he believes in the strong border and Tariff more protection but then has a mix of Reagan trickle down in him, that is more what the Maga base, they are not true conservative Reagan's base of the 80's. Hell probable most of Maga calm to be Christian, just by looking at them you can tell they are not the weekly church service type people.
