I think they played very well against this top ranked team. This level of competition is really going to benefit them this season. Also might help some of these kids get looks from some colleges that might not even know who they are.
Burns is going to S&T. The coaches son and the other guy, if they play, will play low level within 200 miles of Thayer (C of O, BBC or similar low-level.) No one, and I mean no one, recruits from a HS game for that level.

12 years is 3 HS generations. At least at schools where people only go four years. You may not be familiar with that.
