Why wouldn't they or anyone else extend as many offers as is possibly allowed? It's legal unlike some stuff other colleges do so why not???
"Oh, sorry kid. We made you that offer, but now we have to rescind it. I'm sure that Alcorn St. still has some open spots now."
Tennessee is once again going to finish with a top 20 recruiting class. The 5th time in 6 years. Yet they suck and Mizzou throttles them with mediocre recruiting.
Does this mean Tennessee's coaching is just pathetic or are these rankings absolute BS. ND has a top 10 class every year, yet they often suck.

Tennessee is so overrated every year. I can recall them losing two straight one year and dropping one spot in the polls. Then I believe beating Appalachian state in overtime the next week and moving up four spots? Tennessee has also had a opening at the OC position for over a month now and still has not filled it. Their head coach was asked about this today and his response was “Offensive Coordinator position can somstimes be a joke.” Lol
Since Tenn won their NC with Fullmer in the year after Manning left I do think it is fair to say that no program has probably achieved less with more talent. The Vols have had some mediocre teams stacked with NFL talent.
