There are some very solid teams in Mid-Mo with quality players. Each of these teams in league have good experienced coaches and will be fun to watch during the season. Jeff City will surprise some folks with their new coach, have a true post and some depth with their guards. Tolton will be very solid and has some nice pieces to put on the floor, @ times they can be explosive offensively. Blair Oaks will once again have a nice all around team have some size and toughness to throw at folks. Crocker will surprise some folks in the Friscoe league their forward is a nice player that will cause some matchup problems. CoMo/S Call is a blend of kids from 3 different programs. The PG from S Call is tough and smart, forward from Jamestown will have a nice year and can stuff the stat sheet. The Columbia kids are solid players, the forward that came down to play with them from Rock Bridge is an explosive athlete. Fatima has some good athletic kids and just play very hard and cause problems defensively. Versailles has some shooters that can get hot and score points in bunches. New Bloomfield has an experienced team returning and the big kid can score inside and out. Iberia is very intriguing and has a lot of depth and size for a small school. Hallsville has some nice players that just know how to play and they can shoot the ball.

Jeff City has really been impressive to me so far. They flat out can score and their depth is really good. Versailles has really improved a lot from the first week to the last. I talked to some of the people from Crocker last week and they said that their point guard that was there in week 1 hasn't been back since that first week. The little guard that's been playing there for him the past few weeks is a move-in and he looks like a good addition. I haven't seen Tolton play much, but they look to be tough, and I have been really impressed with the overall competitiveness of the games so far. Iberia will be really good and look like they're very composed. Of course, this is fall ball, and no one has their entire team out there, except maybe Jeff City! Should be a really good winter season!
