Valle hasn't won a title since 2019.

The public school across town is 0-6 against the private school lately with the scores totaling 276-20 in those games.

Is there a problem in SG county?

I'll listen off the air.

Edit: Sorry forgot about the 2021 district game. 0-7 with the scores 345-55.

The Ste. Gen area bingo card would have
Hoog
Viox
Oberle
Schwent
Gegg
Boyer
Schilly

In the case of Valle, the current classification system has served it's intended purpose of preventing a school from dominating a sport year after year, Valle has been in Class 3 for a couple years with Class 1 enrollment. Park Hills Central had a good run of owning that district, while Valle had just pretty good teams by their standards. I expect them to fluctuate between Class 2 and 3 under the current system.

SG public is suffering from the same thing as most schools in our area - Gen Z Syndrome !! Not enough kids who want to put in the work to be good high school athletes. There are fewer kids with a deep competitive drive. It's been awhile since SG had a good class of 10 or 12 really good high school athletes that play all sports.

If you want to see an example of what I'm talking about, go watch some area basketball .
