CDC director testified that it would be late 2nd qtr or 3rd qtr of 2021 before a vaccine is ready to widely distribute to the population, and Trump says the director is mistaken and we could have one ready to distribute by end of Oct., miraculously right before the election.

You know what’s going to happen. In October, Trump will announce that he already sent out the vaccine and everyone was inoculated. And Cheetah, Miller and Randy Quaid05 will believe him.

Actually no. I generally think ALL talk of a vaccine is largely BS. I believe some time in the near future people will start being able to get shots that will make them less scared of getting a Covid but I have never thought there will be a vaccine that cures it.

I heard a scientist say the same thing yesterday. He thinks the most likely vaccine could reduce covid19 symptoms to a common cold-like illness.

If you all remember, the "experts" were saying at the very beginning that they expected a vaccine to take a year to a year and a half to test and be available on the market. CDC head said 2 days ago, whom trump contradicted, that he expected it to still be late 2nd qtr or 3rd qtr of '21. So I'm still thinking by next summer best case scenario.

I'm sticking with the scientists.
