That’s exactly how Obama did them. Remember the Keystone Pipeline project that had been approved by the Corps of Engineers and all state regulatory agency’s that he came out against and ordered halted ????

I'm pretty sure that has NOTHING to do with asking your people to make sure a merger between AT&T and Time Warner doesn't get done. A president has to approve, or disapprove, international pipelines. Trump hates CNN which is owned by Time Warner, where the big boss also owns the Washington Post, which he also hates, so he doesn't want them get that deal done.

You are right, asking your people to stop a pipeline that had already been approved and will benefit everyone in our nation purely for political purposes playing to his left wing base is much worse

It was NOT approved by everyone that has a say in it until the president had his say. I'd bet the tribes that were protesting against it would disagree that it would benefit everyone. It will only take one good leak to ruin their water supply forever and just putting it across that land ain't so great for them. We have a gazillion pipelines already criss-crossing this country, why couldn't they hook up to one of them? I'm still waiting to hear from which ever one of you guys that told me we don't import oil anymore.
