SWMO 8 Man Conf.

If a Conference was started here in SWMO, I think It could be a great thing. With many schools struggling with numbers I think this could be a good option to get more kids exposed to the game of football.
Greenfield and McAuley are already playing 8 man and I really think Liberal would consider it. I saw a game a couple of years back and Liberal only had like 13 players. I think if this was an option more small schools would consider starting teams. Thought I heard a while back that Clever was thinking about starting a team. Thoughts ? Opinions? What other schools could be a candidate to join such a Conference?

I could see golden city breaking the coop and getting their program back since they had one in the past. Liberal would benefit. Maybe some of these other small schools around would start a program such as dadeville and everton

I also heard Jasper had low numbers coming up in Jr.high

Wheaton, Southwest Washburn, and Purdy are decent sized swmo school without football

Southwest is building a track. Be nice to do something with the grass inside it.

Looks like Sparta and Fordland both have Mighty mights football.
