I have to assume it was seeded before that game. That score surprised me when I saw it. Did anybody get to see it or catch a stream?

That's always a good tournament, but it looks like a really competitive field this year. My guess is that Helias will be a little too much for everyone else, but that will be a good tournament.

Seeds were sent in by coaches Friday morning. Owensville had a win over Borgia and also beat Capital City. St. James lost by 2 at Licking in their only game this year. Vote between those two was close.

Not sure what to think about this. It is hard to seed these early season events. Owensville/Steelville/Saint James are all solid. If Owensville and Saint James take care of business in the opening round it will not really matter. They were going to square off either way given that Helias is clearly the top seed.

I saw Owensville lost to Jeff City 35-58. And Sullivan lost to Strafford by 1. Sullivan might be in a good position to get an upset.

watched the Sullivan/Strafford game. Sullivan shot very well but struggled with defensive pressure. Strafford did not shoot well, looked tired and was without their all state PG.

Always a good tournament! I have heard Helias is VERY young and have a new coach. I would think the Top 5 in this are wide open!

Owensville has withdrawn from the tournament this morning due to COVID. Sullivan advances to the second round.

I hate to see this happening Was the whole team quarantined or just ones they did not want to play without? I know it sucks playing short handed but it also takes games away from other teams that deserve to play as well? No right answer Covid SUCKS!
