I watched Sullivan "come back from the dead" to defeat Pacific showing a strong will and belief in themselves. They played a solid game and never gave up. I also watched Borgia stun Parkway West by playing aggressive ball and controlling the guard play. These 2 teams played earlier in the year with Sullivan pulling it out in the end 57-50. Borgia is not the same team that Sullivan played earlier in the season and has tradition on their side, but Sullivan has a confidence in their destiny and believes in themselves. I'm predicting a good game with Borgia coming out on top by 8-10 points, but am interested in what others are thinking about this game. Let's hear it.....

SWJ, Borgia is the only team in class 4 district 6 who could completely destroy the Parkway West Longhorns. Borgia will to be playing the "Tradition Card " on the " New Kids " from Sullivan who are having an unbelievable season. Sullivan coach Dino Mckinney has done a masterful job of getting " The New Kids " to believe they can win against all odds but beating Borgia is a whole different thing. Borgia is like old money that has been past down from generations, they think it's their natural born right to win class 4 district 6 just like the teams before them and the team before them, the 2017 Borgia team has honor @ stake and former Borgia standouts " Luke Meyer and Sean Dolan " and coach Dave Neir are there to make sure tradition stays in place for the 2018 Borgia Knight team.

If you believe the above, The " New Kids " are a huge underdog to win class 4 district 6.

On the ladies side of class 4 district 6. The Pacific Indians girls are about a 100-1 favorite to defeat the lady Eagles.

Looking forward to this game and will definitely be there! The atmosphere should be "electric". There was a time during this season that I thought the Borgia Knights were headed for a losing season, but I should have known that they would rebound. They salvaged the season and truly believe that they have what it takes to win this district and go beyond. Seems that they always pull it together during this time of the season.[/QUOTE]

I agree with you on the girls game but you never know...stranger things have happened. I still remember the sting in 2010 of the highly favored Borgia Knights going down to Kearney for the Class 4 State Championship...that's why they play the game! I hope you're right about the boys and the Borgia Knights continue the tradition. Either way, I expect to enjoy the game and be proud of ny Borgia Kngihts!

Sullivan is a perfect 12-0 when scoring 60+
Borgia is 12-2 when doing the same
Defense will indeed win this contest tonight.
I might as well throw in the team with the most points will definitely win as well :)
John Covington with KLPW always plays Andy Williams "it's the most wonderful time of the year" during basketball playoff broadcasts, no better choice of song to describe the anxiety!
In having played both these squads annually it should be an interesting game. You are more than likely to see junk on junk tonight as gimmick defenses are in their arsenals. And the giant elephant in the room will be the officiating. I hope its evenly called letting the team that played the best for most of the game be the winner. Metro says its the Borgia "mystique" vs the "young guns" riding the hot hand. He isn't far off. But a few area teams have closed the gap on the knights a bit and made these match-ups very entertaining.

Woodcock and Movilla make their teams go - will either or both have an epic night? Or will we see the supporting casts and coaching decisions take center stage?
