I don't see the positives for Excelsior Springs. They can hang with some of those football teams this year, not sure about the next few, I guess I don't know about their youth programs. In Bball however, they are going to get smoked, bad.

My guess is it is all about travel.... a trip from Excelsior to Clinton would make anybody switch conferences

1928 to 1971 they were in it. They had 7 undefeated seasons. So at least 7 conference titles. No, I am not old enough to remember all of them, STONED.

I don't think they have. I believe only Harrisonville, Odessa, Oak Grove, and Pleasant Hill have won it since they rejoined

My brother was on one of those teams, played for Bonuchi on his first go around.

Looks like the MRVC split into East/West in 2008. I figured they had won at least one during that time.
MRVC Conference history
