Next Friday is going to be AMAZING. Great games all over the State!

Got one in particular in mind? Cause.. I have a few. :)
Here we go:

Rockhurst at Lee's Summit West
Platte County at Kearney
Richmond at Maryville
Liberty at Staley (the R and R show, Rawie vs. Ross)
Belton at Battle
Fort Osage (rejuvenated) at Park Hill South
Grain Valley at Harrisonville

Down south:

Webb City at Carl Junction
Ozark at Springfield Glendale

Wish I could attend every one of these!

in my opinion, while Richmond is a very good team, Maryville beats them by three touchdowns at least. for those that like to compare scores, Maryville cleaned Chillicothe's clock, and Richmond needed a touchdown with seconds left at Richmond to beat Chillicothe. Good luck to both teams next week in Maryville, where they've won 40-something home games in row, since Richmond beat them there I think

I tell you what I am not sure how this Center team I am watching right now will fare physically vs. the Machine BUT they have great athletes and TONS of speed.

Like I said in another thread. Richmond will barely beat Chilli and they will get destroyed my Maryville. They have no chance, I have seen all of them play.

How do you feel about Center vs. Maryville? My feeling is a high scoring thriller............

I have not seen Center play so I don't know. I've heard they are the real deal from reliable people.
They made Oak Grove look like slow motion tonight..........not an easy thing to do.

Anything can happen on any given night. Star players could go down with an injury, weather could affect the game etc. Maryville may roll but let the kids play the game. No one expected Seneca to beat Burroughs let alone roll over them a few years ago so that's why the game is played on the field not on paper or from some poster in the Internet.

I would never go so far as to say they have no chance! Maryville cleaned Chillicothe's clock 8 weeks ago, Chillicothe got better after that wake up call. Probably would have won last night if it had not been for the fumble in the last two minutes. But just goes to show anyone can beat anybody if you make more mistakes than they do.

I've been keeping an eye on Center. They have a pretty good running back. Their schedule has not been the toughest and have not really been challenged. Still, I look forward to their match-up with the perennial powers.

In Class 3, District 4 the championship game is Eldon at Owensville. The Dutchmen won the regular season week 2 matchup 48-27, but Eldon has improved a lot in the last three or four weeks, and this figures to be a close game.

In Class 5 District 4 the championship features Ozark at undefeated Springfield Glendale. These two schools are only about 10 miles apart, but they seldom play each other because they are in different conferences. Glendale has a very potent offense that averages around 50 points a game. Ozark has wins over both Webb City and Carl Junction, who are meeting in the Class 4, District 5 title game. Should be a barn burner.
