Strange game

Garcia throws over 100 pitches in 7 shutout innings and Rosie finishes it off with an 11 pitch, no base runners save. I read on the comments part of an article on the Cardinals site that some thought the reason Lyons was called up was because Mo knew Garcia had some kind of health issue. So much for that theory.

But the reason Lyons was called up was to come out of the pen, not to start in Garcia's spot.
